This Privacy Policy explains what information TradePeo ("we", "us") collects when you use tradepeo.com (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored only in encrypted (hashed) form, and we can never see them.
- Google sign-in: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and Google account ID. We do not get access to your Gmail, contacts, Drive or any other Google data.
- Journal data: trades, prices, lot sizes, profit/loss, strategies, rules, notes, emotions, screenshots and prop firm challenge details that you enter or upload.
- Broker gateway: the broker or prop firm links you save, your trade-limit and lock settings, and a record of when you open those links.
- MT4/MT5 connection (optional): if you install our Expert Advisor, it sends your trading account number, broker name and trade details to your journal so it can sync trades and enforce your lock.
- Payments: for paid plans, the payment method, amount, transaction ID and any receipt you submit. We do not store card numbers.
- Messages: anything you send us through the contact form or by email.
Information collected automatically
- Log and security data: IP address, browser type, login times and failed login attempts, used to protect your account.
- Cookies and local storage: a session cookie that keeps you logged in, plus small preferences saved in your browser (for example light/dark theme or Quick/Full trade mode). We do not use advertising cookies.
2. How we use your information
- To run your journal, calculate your statistics and show your dashboard.
- To enforce the rules and trading locks that you set.
- To generate AI trade reviews when you request them.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To send important emails such as password resets, security alerts and account notices.
- To protect the Service against fraud, abuse and unauthorized access.
- To improve TradePeo using combined, anonymous statistics (for example, which features are used most, or which strategies perform best across all users). These statistics never identify you.
3. Third-party services
We share only the minimum data needed with these providers:
- Google, for sign-in, if you choose it.
- AI providers (such as Anthropic or OpenAI). When you request an AI review, the details of that trade are sent to generate the review. Your name and email are not sent.
- TradingView, which provides the market news, calendar and chart widgets. These widgets load directly from TradingView and are covered by TradingView's own privacy policy.
- Our hosting and email providers, which store the website and deliver our emails.
We never sell your personal data, and we never share your journal with brokers, prop firms or advertisers.
4. Data security
We use HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, optional two-factor authentication (2FA), login protection and regular backups. No online service can be 100% secure, so please use a strong password and turn on 2FA in your account settings.
5. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your trades, screenshots, notes and settings are permanently deleted. Copies in backups are overwritten within 30 days. We may keep payment records where the law requires it.
6. Your rights and choices
- Access and export: download all your data at any time from Settings → Export your data.
- Correction: edit your profile and any trade at any time.
- Deletion: delete your account permanently from Settings → Delete account, or ask us to do it for you.
- Emails: turn off non-essential notifications in your settings.
7. Children
TradePeo is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make important changes, we will notify you by email or with a notice in your dashboard. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
